Getting Nevada Libraries to the table --- Let’s talk today! An interactive SOAR analysis (based upon appreciative inquiry) the Aspen model will draw insights from everyone

This participatory speak-up session involves the entire library conference assembly and will ask people to express ideas and raise points about the current state of Nevada libraries: school, special, academic, and public. Participants will be encouraged to discuss views and arrive as quickly as possible at a consensus of opinion, which will then be recorded and synthesized into an overall white paper. With insights from Nevada librarians about what is working and what needs work in our institutions, this session will aid the State Council on Libraries and Literacy in its ability to lead from behind, and advance meaningful solutions to identified needs.
