I've always been passionate about learning and obtained a B.S., specializing in Industrial Arts Education. I enjoy books written for young readers and joined NYRA in 2013. Participating in this group has been a rewarding experience in that it opened me up to many contemporary writers, and enhanced my finding the right book or the reader. I love turning reluctant readers into energetic readers. I am the 2018 NYRA Chair and am eager to bring new readers on board.
